Reflect Outdoor Balm is the excellent organic sunscreen product created by the makes of Miessence body care products.

It is a water-free nourishing balm with natural minerals that help reflect damaging ultraviolet radiation. Microfine zinc oxide offers protection from harmful rays whilst organic olive oil keeps the skin supple. Potent antioxidants including natural vitamin E, beta carotene and polygonum extract, protect the skin from premature aging and prevent damage caused by the elements.

We all love the outdoors - nothing makes us feel more alive than having fun in the elements. Whether it be pounding through the salty surf, shooshing down powdery ski runs, or just throwing a ball with the kids in the park; but if you're out in the sunshine, you need to protect your skin!

You should apply organic sunscreen generously to skin surfaces, liable to be exposed to sunlight for protracted period, around 20 minutes before going out in the sun (allows time for the skin to absorb and the sun cream to become effective). Then you need to reapply the sunscreen every two hours. Any time you're outdoors, exposed to the elements for a prolonged period this organic sunscreen with natural minerals, and high proportion of natural, certified organic ingredinets is a great choice for skin health and sun protection for all the family.

NOTE:
Because a product like sunscreen necessarily requires a high proportion of natural mineral ingredient in its formulation (zinc oxide) the percentage of other 'organic' ingredients is lower by volume (mineral are NOT liable to organic certification as they are not 'grown'!) but because this implies that less than 95% of ingredients, by volume, are technically classifiable as 'certified organic' the packaging cannot carry the certification logo. You will see, however, that the majority of ingredients other than the main mineral component ARE indeed certified organic.

This means that this product is the nearest that you can get to organic sunscreen, available on the market today, in terms of its other supporting ingredients whish are a blend of certified organics and natural ingredients (natural but non-certified ingredients are ONLY used where certified organic options are not currently available or relevant).

Always check the ingredient list of other products that claim natural or organic provenance -- most contain synthetic chemical additives. This product has NO synthetic chemical added:
